Misprint - This project was built entirely through experimentation, with my main focus on physically distressing materials to mimic the kind of wear and aging that usually takes years to appear on printed or painted objects. One of the biggest challenges was not knowing how these experiments would be applied at the end of the project, which pushed me to stay process-driven and open to unexpected outcomes. Once the final deliverable was defined as an animation, I revisited my experiments and looked for movement, texture, and visual patterns. The final animation, Misprint, brings these distressed materials into motion, referencing printing errors, wear, and moments where the process breaks down. What would normally be considered flaws become the focus of the piece, emphasizing imperfection as an intentional part of the design rather than a mistake.
